The final night of testing at the Losail Circuit in Qatar has concluded with Cassey Stoner lapping one second quicker that Jorge Lorenzo who seems to have got to grips with his Bridgestone tires. Valentino Rossi continued his good form to end the night third fastest only marginally slower than Jorge on the same bike. The newly sponsored Monster Yamaha Tech 3 of James Tosland is starting to get closer to the running pace and we hope that James can continue to improve his times through the two day test in Jerez and in free practice for the first race of the season at Losail in Qatar in less than six weeks.

So with one test left we hope that all the bikes and riders are in top shape for the opening round and that we get a season of nonstop close racing action.

With the final pre season testing underway in Qatar we're only six weeks away from the opening round of the 2009 MotoGP at the Losail Circuit in Qatar on Arpil 12 2009. Again this year we only have one British entry in James Toseland, after a year racing the Tech3 Yamaha we hope that he can dice with the best at the front from the opening laps.

After his massive highside in Malaysia three weeks ago James will be looking to get some track time under his tires over the next two nights. Escpecially after the firsts nghts testing was rained out, all the riders will be hoping for uninterupted nights to get set up for the first round.
